Commissioner Reding determined to move ahead with planned Women 40% Directive

Speaking at the Harvard Club of Belgium gathering on Monday 8 October in Brussels, Viviane Reding outlined her determination to move ahead with her proposal of a directive targeting a Women40% quota on the boards of Europe’s listed companies by 2020. She said this was not only a matter of justice. It made business sense for the EU’s weakened economies.
